is where MediSave plays a crucial role in lowering dental expenses.
MediSave is a national medical savings scheme to help individuals save a portion of their income for
personal or dependents’ hospitalisation, day surgery and certain outpatient expenses. You may read about

MediSave lowers your dental expenses by up to $1,250 for an implant. For instance, if the cost of the
implant is $3,700, you would have lowered your out-of-pocket expense by a third.
To utilize MediSave, please use a MediSave Accredited Dental Clinic. True Dental Studio is accredited under the MediSave Scheme and patients can make claims on approved treatments such as implants and dental surgeries.
Who Can Use MediSave?
MediSave is a national medical savings scheme available to all Singapore citizens and Permanent
Residents. It can be used to offset healthcare expenses. If there are insufficient funds in the account,
your family member’s account can even be utilized to pay for the expense on your behalf.

Generally, the MediSave scheme allows treatment that involves surgery and is performed due to medical reasons. MediSave does not cover non-surgical dental services and cosmetic procedures.

How To Claim MediSave During Your Visit
If you possess a CHAS/PG/MG card, you may also be eligible for a subsidised rate on non-surgical dental
services.
At True Dental Studio, we are committed to providing affordable dental
treatments at our clinic and facilitating your claims. Utilizing MediSave is only a simple 3
step process at our clinic.
1. Consultation
Book an appointment at the clinic for one of our doctors to assess your condition. During the consultation, you will be informed about the eligibility of the treatment for MediSave claims. If deemed eligible, you will co-pay the dental expense after your MediSave claims.
2. Verification
Bring a copy of your NRIC and your family member's NRIC if you are utilizing their account for our clinic to verify your identity. You will be asked to complete the Medical Claims Authorisation Form (MCAF) to claim from the MediSave account.
3. Billing
Once the payment has been processed, you will receive a MediSave Claims Statement notifying you of the deduction.
